Christine Perrin

I have the regrettable duty to inform you of the death today of Christine Perrin after a long battle with breast cancer.

Christine was a dedicated and respected Ryde club member & "hockey parent" and was, until recently, part of our Minkey coaching team.

Christine leaves behind husband Lawrence and five children including daughter Alex who played senior & junior hockey at the club.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Christine's family and friends on this sad occasion.

Funeral details will be posted in 'general news' on the website when available

Vale Romeo Carinci

In case you are unaware it is with great sadness that I pass on the following news that UTS Vets player – Romeo Carinci (age 47) has passed away as a result of a tragic motor cycle accident yesterday at Peats Ridge

Romeo has been the Team Co-ordinator for UTS Men’s Vets hockey for past few years and was a lively guy both on and off the hockey field – he will be missed

Romeo joined UTS Hockey Club in 2000, as part of the Forest/Lavender Hill Hockey team that joined us that season. He has managed our men’s Veterans team in the past 2 years. He had been a committed club member, as both player and supporter, since joining. He has a son 15, and daughter 13. He was 47 years old.

Romeo was an amazing character, and was well known to all who played with him, and against him. He will be greatly missed.

With great sadness
