Code of Behaviour
At Ryde Hunters Hill Hockey Club we take great pride in the
behaviour of our members and the standards of sportsmanship displayed. To
assist all people involved in our Club, we have adopted the Australian
Commission Codes of Behaviour as a minimum standard. Extracts from the
Players and Parents Codes is included for your information and by
registering with the Club you agree to abide by these codes.
Commitment
All Players who register with Ryde Hunters Hill Hockey Club
are expected to honour their commitment to their team for the full season,
which ends sometime in September, 2010. Your commitment to your team
includes attendance at training sessions and competition matches
(excluding representative hockey commitments). Players who become
unavailable for training sessions and/or matches due to other commitments,
prevent their team from reaching its full potential and place their team-
mates at a considerable disadvantage. While we will accept some players
with school sport commitments, we expect these players to work with both
the coach and manager of their Club team and the coach of their school
team to ensure neither team is disadvantaged by any clash with a Club and
school game. Players are expected to be available for all finals series
Players are asked to read the above statement carefully and
sign the following acknowledgement as an indication of their commitment to
the Club and their follow players.
WE have read the above Code of Behaviour and statement
regarding Commitment. We agree to offer the level of commitment as
specified in these forms as filled out by us. We also accept the
Australian Sports Commission Code of Behaviour. We wish to register to
play hockey with the Ryde Hunters Hill Hockey Club for the 2010 season on
the basis specified in all these documents with which we agree to be
bound.
