Men's Training Times Announced,
Change to Trial Date PL1, PL2
Men's training starts on February 15 & 16
Please find below the Men's training timeslots for season 2012.
Training on the turf starts on the 15th of February for 4th-10th
grade and 16th February for 1st-3rd grade. The club is putting a
lot of effort into ensuring that players get maximum value out
of training this season so we would encourage everyone who wants
to play senior hockey at Ryde in 2012 to come on down. Also
attached is the pre season schedule
which includes the dates dedicated to trials both internally and
against other clubs. Only 10 weeks to go till the start of the
season! See you at training.
Men's Premier Division Trial - This SUNDAY (5th) 12.30pm
(changed from Sat)
The first trial for our Men's 1st & 2nd grade squad is this
Sunday at the turf from 12.30pm to 2pm. It will be an internal
trial and all players wanting to play 1st & 2nd grade in 2012
should attend

2nd Grade - Pre season training update
Premier Division - 1st & 2nd Grade Training
The premier division squad pre season training is in full swing.
We are now 3 weeks in to a 10 week fitness program and we are
aiming to have our 1st & 2nd grade players the fittest they have
ever been heading into the 2012 season. The program is being run
by a professional trainer and it is critical that all players
wanting to play 1st or 2nd grade for Ryde in 2012 get along to
these sessions which are held at Dunbar Park on Tuesday's and
Thursday's.
These sessions are also open to lower grade players wanting to
blow off the festive season cobwebs and we'd encourage as many
of you as possible to come along.
Attached is the updated version
of the pre season calendar Please note all changes to the
schedule have been highlighted in red.
(note that this Saturday's session will now be at the hockey
centre followed by a breakfast BBQ).
Only 8 weeks to go until the start of the premier division
season! See you at training.

Pre Season
Training Starts in January - 1st & 2nd Grade
Hi All
Please find
attached a letter from our
new director of coaching, Tim Collier about pre season training
for our Men's and Women's Premier League teams in 2012.
Pre season starts on January 10 for our Men's and Jan 24 for
Women's squads (please find the
pre season calendar attached
also). All players wanting to play 1st or 2nd grade at Ryde next
season are expected to attend pre season training as we are
making a big push for premier league success in 2012.
Players from other grades are welcome to attend fitness training
with the premier league squads however pre season training for
other grades will not officially start until mid February (more
details will be provided in January).
